Tradition, Florida

The Town of Tradition, Fla. offers a mix of traditional neighborhoods which includes rental properties, condominiums, town homes and single family residences. Tradition’s education offerings are among the best in the state. The innovative school will use the latest teaching methods and curricula, exposing students throughout the community to cutting-edge educational programs.

Lifestyle in Tradition

Relaxation and recreational opportunities abound in the Town of Tradition, Fla. which features town squares, sculpture parks, and interactive fountains. Winding paths for walking, jogging and biking, as well as tranquil waterways and the 45-acre Lake Tradition add further opportunity for outdoor recreation.

Abundant recreational activities are nearby, as well. The New York Mets made the city of Port St. Lucie their spring training home, and as the area has grown and prospered, the Mets have become a local tradition. The Town of Tradition, Fla. was founded just four miles from the Mets’ spring training complex, combining the down home feel of neighborhoods the way they used to be with all the features and amenities today’s consumers expect. Now these two great traditions have come together. Along with the New York Mets’ announcement that they have extended their lease in Port St. Lucie until at least 2018, the refurbished stadium officially became known as Tradition Field.

Golf is another one of the many recreational activities available, including the PGA Village within a few miles from the heart of Tradition, the only golf complex open to the public that is owned and operated by the PGA of America. Residents can play over 54 holes of championship golf, or even hone their skills at one of the world’s largest practice facilities.

And just another reason Tradition residents enjoy living in Port St. Lucie: it has been recognized for seven straight years as “The Safest City in the State of Florida.”

A Publix Super Market anchors the Village Center which features an eclectic mix of retail establishments, from coffee houses and sushi bars to fine jewelry and spas. A 600,000-acre power center planned for late 2006 will offer residents access to major big-box retailers. Additional world-class shopping can be found in nearby Palm Beach.
